Loxley Plc (LOXLEY) will sign a joint investment contract with the
Siam TV Communications Co Ltd and Siam Satellite Network Co Ltd to set up
a new company, namely Siam VDO Conference Service Co Ltd on January 25,
1995 between 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel.
The new1y established firm will provide VDO Conference services.
LOXLEY will hold a 40% stake, Siam TV another 40% and Siam Satellite a 20%
stake in the new company. LOXLEY will raise the funds amounting to
Bt4.00 million for the investment from its working capital.
LOXLEY said the new company will help to expand the VDO conference
service business and it will receive dividend payments as a benefit from
the investment.
LOXLEY also clarified news saying that the company would make a
joint investment to set up a tele-university using satellite
communication. LOXLEY said it has not yet been contacted by or entered
into any negotiations with any individuals or companies yet. If there is
any progress on the matter, the company will inform the SET at a later
date.
