REPORTS SEPTEMBER ECD CONVERSION RESULT

Loxley Plc. (LOXLEY) reported on the conversion results of its Euro
Convertible Debentures (ECD) in September 1996 saying that there were no
resoponses during the month.
LOXLEY previously issued and offered ECDs worth US$100 million to
foreign investors between April 20 and May 20, 1995. The ECD holders are
given the right to convert their ECDs before maturity, beginning from
July 20, 1996.
