REPORTS JANUARY'S ECD CONVERSION RESULT

Loxley Plc. (LOXLEY) released conversion result of the Euro
Convertible Debentures (ECD) worth US$100 million it offered to foreign
investors on April 20 - May 20, 1995, saying that no ECD holders
forwarded conversion intention in January 1997.
These ECDs carry a put option beginning July 20, 1995.
