Loxley Trading Wins Right to Distribute China’s Legendary Sauces “Lee Kum Kee”
Loxley Trading’s product lineup continues to expand with more famous brands joining its bandwagon. In its latest move, the firm has signed the contract for the distribution of Lee Kum Kee’s sauce and seasoning products - China’s best sellers - in Thailand.
9 June 2022; Mr. Suroj Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer and President of Loxley Public Company Limited, and Mr. Leslie Lau, Managing Director South Asia of Lee Kum Kee (Malaysia) Company Limited, signed a contract to appoint Loxley Trading Company Limited as the distributor of sauce and seasoning products under Lee Kum Kee brand in Thailand. In terms of sales, Lee Kum Kee is the No. 1 brand in China. For the Thai market, Loxley Trading will be in charge of marketing and distributing Lee Kum Kee products via both traditional trade and modern trade.
Mr. Suroj reveals Loxley Trading’s strengths lie with its strong network of retailers across Thailand. As the firm can fast and comprehensively distribute products, it truly answers well to the needs of Lee Kum Kee, which not only aims to expand its business but also recognizes Thailand’s potential. In the beginning, four types of Lee Kum Kee products namely Oyster Sauce, Light Soy Sauce, Sesame Sauce, and Dipping Sauces will be launched to the Thai market via retail shops, online platforms, and modern-trade outlets such as leading department stores, hypermarkets, supermarkets, and convenience stores across Thailand.
“Lately, Loxley Trading has entered into a contract to be a distributor of oral-care products by Jordan, a major Norwegian brand. Now that we have also signed a contract with China’s legendary brand ‘Lee Lum Kee’, we are confident that Loxley Trading will definitely record sales growth this year,” Mr. Suroj says.
Lee Kum Kee, which is more than 134 years old, has manufactured more than 200 types of sauces and seasoning products. Known for quality and good taste among cooks, these products are available in more than 100 countries across five continents. Its most famous product is Original Oyster Sauce, which was first invented by Lee Lum Kee in 1888.
