Loxley Plc (LOXLEY) will acquire 66.5% of Societe Commerciale Laoc
(SCL)'s shares for Bt8,925,000 from a group of French and Laotian
business people in accordance with a resolution made at its executives
meeting on July 7, 1995.
The company is exporter, importer and trader of industrial,
agriculture and consumer products as well as providing transportation
services in Laos.
The French businesspeople are Mr. Jacques Mathey and Miss Sylvie Dam-
Van, while, the Laotian former shareholders include Mrs. Phouthone
Phoumsavanh, Mrs.Vikeo Sithachark and Mr.Chanpheng Bounnaphol.
LOXLEY said it will raise the investment fund from its working
capital. The investment is to expand its business in foreign countries.
The deal is not a connected transaction.
